“Great is the Lord and most worthy of praise; His greatness no one can fathom.” - Psalm 145: 3

Psalm 150 is a grand finale to the book of Psalms - a call for all creation to lift its voice in praise to the Almighty. The psalmist summons us to praise God in His sanctuary, praise Him in His mighty heavens, and praise Him for His acts of power and surpassing greatness. Every instrument, every breath, every voice is invited into this symphony of worship. Dear friends, if the psalmist could call upon trumpets, harps, flutes, and cymbals to give glory to God, how much more should we, who have received the gift of salvation through Jesus Christ, offer Him praise? Remember, worship is not about mood or circumstance - it is about God’s worth, which never changes. And praise is not confined to a place, a day, or a people - it is the continuous response of all who have experienced the greatness of God.

As Hebrews 13:15 reminds us, “Through Jesus, therefore, let us continually offer to God a sacrifice of praise - the fruit of lips that confess His name.”  Praise lifts our eyes from our troubles to the greatness of our God and strengthens our hearts in His presence.  True praise is more than music - it is a lifestyle.  It  flows through our prayers, our acts of kindness, our obedience, and even our trials when we choose to honor God.  When we live this way, our lives themselves become like instruments in His orchestra, blending into the eternal song of heaven.  “Let everything that has breath praise the Lord!”(Psalm 150: 6)

PRAYER: Almighty God, I choose to lift my heart in praise to You. Let my life, my words and my deeds resound with thanksgiving for Your greatness and love. Let everything in me praise Your name. You are worthy and You deserve all praises. Amen.
