YHWH for today - Gift

Romans 1 : 5 - Through Christ, God gave me the special work of an apostle—to lead people of all nations to believe and obey him. I do all this to honour Christ. (ERV)

I came across a tale about a young girl. Her father gave her a special box meant for her everyday use. The child cherishes it deeply in her life. Whenever friends or family came to visit, she would proudly show them the gift from her father, explaining how it works and how beneficial it is.

For Paul how Special it is, why it’s Special.  A gift bestowed upon us through His Grace.

God offered His Son as a Gift to all of humanity..  As per Ephesians 4:11 "And he gave some, apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers".  

How we perceive the Gift - Is it tucked away in a corner of our lives, or do we utilize the gift when needed, or do we cherish the Gift around the clock, sharing happiness, presence, and joy with others.

A qualified Civil Engineer is capable of guiding his team to achieve excellence. This is due to his deep understanding of the subject and his confidence in leadership.

How about us, are we qualified about the Gift we received from heaven.  Are we able to guide our family, neighbors, Church, colleagues, society through the Gifts we received?  

John 2:5, where Mary says to the servants at the Wedding at Cana, "Do whatever he tells you".  - Mary believed that Jesus is the Son of God and he ordered the servants to obey by doing whatever he tells you.

Each year, the seasons arrive and pass by. Now is the moment to pause and reflect on the Gift that was received 2000 years ago. Are we merely using it for a season, or are we treasuring this Gift in every moment of our lives and sharing the love of Christ with others?
