Read : Psalm 65: 8-13

“You care for the land and water it; you enrich it abundantly. ...” - Psalm 65:9

Have you ever wondered how the four seasons summer, winter, autumn and spring occur in such rhythm and order? During summer the land becomes parched for want of water, and when the summer showers quench its thirst, the seeds gain life and grow up to be healthy plants, which in their time yield flowers and fruits. During autumn however, the trees shed their leaves and look bare. There seems to be no hope of greenery, but during the spring each bare branch regains its splendor and sprouts out green leaves. We cannot comprehend the incomparable wisdom and order with which the Creator accomplishes all these. He is the One who has planned and perfected everything. In Isaiah 27:2-3, the Lord says, “Sing about a fruitful vineyard; I, the Lord, watch over it; I water it continually. I guard it day and night so that no one may harm it.” When the Lord cares for the land and all its vegetation to the minutest detail, how much more would He care for His dear children! Though many times we feel let down, and feel broken, He always takes care of us.

Dear friends, you may feel right now that you are becoming useless like a dry land which is totally unproductive. Do not lose heart. Seasons do change and just as spring comes during its appointed time and brings life and joy along with it, your life will also have a definite change soon. The Lord will satisfy you with all the good things you need! He will bestow upon you the riches of His grace and care for you. You will lack nothing!

PRAYER: Dear Lord, my eyes are on You for all my needs. I am desperate and feel worthless and useless. You are the One who keeps Your eyes on the sparrows, and I trust You will stretch Your Hands to satisfy me with all the good things. I declare that I will lack nothing.  Amen.
